I want to thank everyone for their very generous, useful and friendly advice! I think I will start with a trial of Poser Debut, as it will let me know if I like it. I didn't know that such great things were possible with the different 3D software packages. A whole new world awaits me, and I am thankful that I have this forum to post my questions.
