As I believe you've noticed, no rsr files are necessary, so it really doesn't matter. As Rob mentioned, these most likely were zipped to make things convient for YOU....with recursive directories. Be sure to always unzip with recursive directories on to take advantage. When files are overwritten during Unzipping, this is a clue recursive directories were used...just unzip again with proper settings. Naming these files with the same name is called "maintaining your sanity" for the creator...AND the reciever. How else are you to keep track of what files go together. Hope this explains what's going on for you...this is NOT a fault of the creator. Hopefully will make life a bit easier for you too...
