Only xStream/Inf uses some GPU processing while rendering. From a Vue-point there is no need for anything fancy.

All Vue versions use GPU driving OpenGL for Previewing, in which case Vue has a mild historic preferece for nVidea, although ATI is doing fine the last years. From a Vue-point, a 1Gb card might be preferrable over a 512Mb one for heavy textured scenes.
