Considering the poor showing of the last challenge made me wonder how I could get more of you to enter. Now I know that these next weeks are probably, for most you, the busiest of the year, but I thought if there was something you could see that might inspire you, we might get loads of entries - more work for me of course, but then I'm a sucker for punishment as I'm sure you must have been saying when I took this job in the first place.
By shear chance, Mrs Bryster was watching a music video just the other day and I thought this would be a wonderful visual spur for those of you a bit lacking in the brain and Brycing department.
Tom Jones plays a devilish character to Cerys (pron- Keh-Riss) Mathews' innocent 'victim'. Listen to the song of course, but watch the video carefully too or you'll miss the twist towards the end. The very first frames are outstanding too.
You'll all have heard of Tom Jones, but Cerys - Tom's Welsh compatriate - sang with the Catatonia (See - Mulder & Scully) and has a great harmony which does nothing to detract from Tom's dulcett tones.
So, do yourselves favour and watch this video from YouTube.
