As the winner of the last Bryce Challenge,

**Dan Whiteside
**

has thrown down the gauntlet.

Baby! It's Cold Outside!

Dan Whiteside has set the following challenge:

Create a scene in Bryce depicting the theme Baby! It's Cold Outside!

Anything to do with the Winter season, imports are fine as well as post processing (but as always, kept to a minimum).

The Challenge is on as of now! Good Luck to everyone.

Considering the poor showing of the last challenge made me wonder how I could get more of you to enter. Now I know that these next weeks are probably, for most you, the busiest of the year, but I thought if there was something you could see that might inspire you, we might get loads of entries - more work for me of course, but then I'm a sucker for punishment as I'm sure you must have been saying when I took this job in the first place.

By shear chance, Mrs Bryster was watching a music video just the other day and I thought this would be a wonderful visual spur for those of you a bit lacking in the brain and Brycing department.

Tom Jones plays a devilish character to Cerys (pron- Keh-Riss) Mathews' innocent 'victim'. Listen to the song of course, but watch the video carefully too or you'll miss the twist towards the end. The very first frames are outstanding too.

You'll all have heard of Tom Jones, but Cerys - Tom's Welsh compatriate - sang with the Catatonia (See - Mulder & Scully) and has a great harmony which does nothing to detract from Tom's dulcett tones.

So, do yourselves favour and watch this video from YouTube.

Darn!

I uploaded my stuff.
Got the message that the size wasn't correct.
Seems I forgot to resize it to 1084.
Sorry about that.

Now what?

I'm new to these contests, and I haven't been able to find the answer to this question.  Is there a prize for the winner, or just being able to say, "I won!" to all our friends?  I plan on entering either way, I'm just wondering.

peedy ( ) posted Fri, 30 December 2011 at 11:45 PM

On the Challenge page there are winner banners for 1st; 2nd and 3rd place.
You can download one if you have won. :-)

So the recognition is the prize.  That's cool.  ^_^  I submitted an entry, just waiting to hear that it's been accepted.
