When I make a model, I make its .obj name and its .cr2 name nearly the same but not quite, e.g. scubadiver.cr2 and scuba_diver.obj; fin.cr2 and fin_.obj . Some of the Zygote and standard Poser models have their .obj and .cr2 names very different, e.g. Nude Man.cr2 and maleNudeWithEyes.obj; driver.obj and blDrvr.obj . One case when difference between the two names even in ordinary use would matter is with the Harley motorcycle model, whose .cr2 file points to its geometry file thus: figureResFile :Runtime:Libraries:Character:New Figures:Harley.obj , clearly wanting its geometry to be in the character directory along with its .cr2 file.
