I am certain that by 5 years there will be lots of new figures from 3rd parties.

I know of a couple of different people working on new figures. come to think of it - 3 different ones at least.

That's the best part of all this - all those Poser genuises are getting busy and solving the problem.  The biggest lesson is not to allow a single source to become the only figure provider.
