The bollens in Bryce are a different operation, they only "hide" areas that are subtracted & don't cut them out. In C, you need to have a high quality setting in order to have enough faces & vertices to work with. The flat blade area will only have a couple to work with & that's part of the problem. There is some info at the egroups site (archives) that Antoine put together regarding booleens with C.
