In the (advanced) material room, select the material which is showing the problem. On the image map node(s), set the texture filtering to "none". Try rendering again with IDL or AO, and let's see what happens.
This fixed a similar wireframe shadow problem on the terrain of Galadriel's Mirror. Credit for this solution goes to Mada.
