You can do some excellent models in Vue if you know what you're doing. Look at Chippwalters page on C3D, if you look at his image "Blood Toys" this was entirely modelled inside Vue 6, the rotary machine you see there is what he modelled using Vue tools inside Vue..

Word of warning, Chipp is a real expert in Vue, I for one could get nowhere near doing what he does with it..
