I really like Daz Studio 4 Advanced and only had two glitches with it so far.  For those of you who don't like the default interface, you can always change to one of the others.  I think that watching the free tutorial videos helped me a great deal to learn it so far.  I wish that it rendered faster, but other than that I've been pleased.  I love the Genesis figure and like the ability to blend body shapes.

I have been having probelms with legacy content compatibility, Michael 2 doesn't work like he's supposed to  and geometry switching doesn't work currently.   I still like to use Michael 2 and I have a lot of 3rd party figures that still use geometry switching so I'm hoping that's fixed soon.

For someone just getting into 3D I'd definitely reccomend it, as well as those who want to use Genesis content.
