Subject: How Much is Too Many Polygons for a Model?

All poly's have to "DO" something in 3D space.

If a poly does not "DO" something in 3D space it is pollution.

Allways remember that texture is what you see.
A mesh is just a wirefreme to hang the texture on.

Texture is what we see.

To a point. If it's too low you may as well just be making game meshes. Go play a game. Not good for rendering artistic images ;).
