Quote - you make it permenant by updating the CR2, on the thighs and shins (as I remember) there are non 0 values against xrotate, zrotate and yrotate.  You set those to zero in the blank CR2, that stops the legs going nuts.

I would suggest that the best way to zero the rotations is to do it in Poser in the Joint Editor, with IK off. Then Memorize the figure. This ensures that not only are the 'keys' values zeroed, but also the initValue, and any staticValue that may have been set. In addition to the rotations, you should also check that the translations of the BODY and hip are zeroed and memorized.
