lol, I should just start telling off these bad vibes in renders and load them here, and say "this is from so and so, it says it's got DS mats, but it came with crap (or) but it came with mat files that don't work", then do the credit thing which will be on their product pages.  That'll show 'em.

Hell, I've even inspected a non-working file and to my horror it was mostly copied/pasted Poser lines.  Crap no wonder it didn't work!!  And they've been tested? lol goodness.

I agree with tparo, there are some vendors who do great work here, and I strongly support them (unfortunately most people do products I don't care for).  The thing is, if they're gonna say "DS mats included" or "DS supported", it had better support and look good in DS like it does in Poser.  And we better see some promos done in DS.  Hell, they don't have to exactly match, but just look good where people don't have to spend hundreds of hours setting things up before they can render (or use them later).  And if they don't know how to run the program and make 'em look good, look for someone who can.  I've helped numberous vendors and they were very happy with my work.

But if they don't want to do neither, simply don't support DS.  Beats being dishonest and making themselves a "bad vibe" vendor.

Rendo's not the only place though, we get a bunch of flat looking (no specular/no bumpy) things at Daz3D as well, a lot!  I got in trouble there for narking them off lol.
