Now the full story, where is PP2012 and your content installed within the Windows 7 environment.  If you respond Program Files Folder then you may be experiencing UAC interference, an OS security measure.  But we don't have that bit of information to determine the exact issue.  As far as we know, it might be outdated video drivers causing issues on program shutdowns.
