I am glad if you feel that is a good deal.
I am not interested in comparisons with other products right now.
I have Poser Debut and Poser8. I bought both. I bought P8 during a sale a few months before P9 and P2012PRO were released. I think it was dishonourable for SM to push P8 (through a sale) when they were planning to bring out the new iterations such a short time later, which essentially makes P8 obsolete. They knew exactly what they were doing and decided to milk customers for as much as they could get. I am sure many customers, including myself, would have saved their money and waited for P9 if we had known it would be available in so short a time after getting P8. Many people, including myself, have limited resources, and as good as this sale appears to many, I can't take advantage of it.
Now, this is not a comment on the value of Poser software. It is a comment on business practices and ethics. This naturaly has an effect on customer satisfaction.
This is not something I am interested in debating. I present it simply as my experience. You have some similar sentiments in the DAZ community as a result of DAZ 4 PRO being made available for free.
