Settings really depend on your intent. 0.15 (in inches) will deliver results. I carry the displacement map and its settings throughout the figure even if there is no displacement. This I mean by a gray 129/129/129 map plugged into displacement with same setting to avoid breaks at the body part seams. This is not always needed but costs little to make and use.
