Quote - On Windows 7 or Vista don't try installing Bryce to the Program Files folder.  It is a dated program that still read and writes files to sub-directories of the folder it is installed in.

Yep which is why I un-installed it and installed in a seperate folder and then, when it suffered the same problem istalled on a drive on it's own and still Bryce7 did not start.  I even deleted Bryce6.3 in case there was a conflict still the same problem.  Uninstalled Bryce 7 and did not bother to re-install Bryce 6 so the only thing Daz gave me for free was more disc space.

My version of Poser 2012 is in my program folder as was Poser 7, 8 and 2010 and while I am aware that some people have problems and it is not recommended I have had no issues.  So, for now at least, I have left it there as I am a firm believer that if is ain't broke don't try and fix it.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
