Subject: What is the best way to get illuminated moon lighting?

Depth cue is a pretty neat trick, even if it is no longer strictly needed. Use at your discretion. Whatever works, works.

Here I have done a very bad thing to my render. I have disabled shadows and added rather overwhelming global lighting via IBL. I have ruined it!!!

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
