Good character but I don't think the dreads would be accurate.  Note, I said "think".

People of Arabic ethnicity tend to have straighter hair than Africans, which doesn't lend itself well to dreads without a lot of faffing around.

Short of anyone producing a photograph from the time we'll never know for sure.  I like the idea of him being portrayed as a well built guy, though.  Prophet of Allah, Son of God or plain Carpenter, chances are he was a strong guy, being used to manual labour and all that.  I can't think there'd be any weedy Carpenters around at that time.
