I just noticed the scatter colour on the scatter node works on the material option (apple, skin1 etc) regardless of whether you've ticked the 'use material colour' or not.

Is this supposed to be how it works? I always assumed when 'use material colour' box was unticked it meant it was using whatever was hooked up to the 'colour' for it's scatter colour.

The above were rendered without 'use material colour' ticked, but rendered the same when ticked. (ketchup and apple were left selected in the material dropdown)

While not directly related to GC, it does affect part of the soloution for softening the terminator.
