Interesting point about the multicore rendering...

There are plenty of cloud based render farms for the likes of Maya, 3ds Max and Cinema4d...

Vue have recently released a Linux version of their network rendering system... I'm guessing because this is sought after by render farm providers and bigger CGI production companies... so who knows, it may be only a matter of time before Poser follows suite?

I could imagine that if the consumer cost could be kept low enough (e.g. by large membership community sites negotiating bulk pricing from render farm providers) then some kind of pay as you go cloud rendering, of more resource intensive Poser scenes and animations, could prove quite attractive to a lot of professional and hobbyist Poser users alike...
