Yeah I couldn't get the converter to work either. I got the strands imported but they didn't render.

The other hair I tried bounced around like crazy and didn't settle. There was collisions on it with the model. when I put the model into a pose where the hair didn't touch the model it settled to the slight twitching I had with the previous hair tests.
