Quote - Unless you get pretty creative.  Maybe dropping man, girl or woman from the name completely might help in finding somethin unique.  Also, using an alternative term which describes the same thing might help.

I am thinking of going that route, utilizing his origin as a starting point. He got his powers in a factory explosion when a particle from a planet that exploded landed in the factory, then vaporized and infused itself in his DNA during the explosion.

I am toying with the idea of changing his powers too, since his arch nemesis is living fire. If they do battle it would be fighting fire with fire, so to speak.

And I was never keen on the title man or woman in a superhero I create. All the cool ones are definitely taken. Super--, Wonder--, Spider--, you get the idea...
