You can disable the daily digest notifications by clicking the little chat bubble with a yellow/orange star on it at the top right of the page by the sitemail envelope. It'll take 24 hours tho for the system to recognize the changes. {the notices will still be onsite, but won't send you an email}

I'll report the issue however about the duplicates, because you shouldn't be getting those.
