A little reading of the manual, Chapter 7, would probably have eliminated several weeks of confusion.
When you save something, it goes in the folder that is currently selected. If you would avail yourself of the many options, you would find lots of ways to customize the UI. One of the ways you can customize it is to only show the Poser 7-style icon list, with no tree, along with a breadcrumb bar. In this mode, you never can be confused about what folder is active, and you navigate so that you only ever see the contents of one folder at a time, like Poser 7. If that floats your boat.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
