oh these make 3d prototypes it looks like. I saw one of these machines. make anything up to about a foot I think. these are physical objects. if the question is - is there a program that can take a 2 d image to make a 3d image I haven't found one yet except doing it the old fasion way like shown inthe books using the photes as models to make your 3d model. I'd like to find one save a lot of work.  unless the machine creates a 3d model in the process of making the prototype does it do this? I was thinking of sending in a couple of characters I've been wanting to make into a 3d character or toy. soemthing I could take to a plastic molding company. looks like this takes a 3d model and makes a 3d prototype.
