Speaking as a consumer who is using V4WM exclusively over the non-weight-mapped version, I would definitely favour clothing and hair products that had been pre-converted and teaked by the vendor and certified to work well, and as intended by the vendor, with the weight-mapping.

I have had plenty success using the Poser Place Outfitter to convert all sorts of pre-V4WM clothing myself. In terms of hair, I have tended to favour hair prop hair anyway...

One notable exception is your short afro hair Oscarsson, which, by merit of being short I think, just works with V4WM, without needing converted. But generally getting long, conforming figure hair to work with V4WM is beyond me, at present... so vendor supplied in this area would be great.

In part, this point seems to me to be a roughly equivalent thing to vendors including ++ or elite morphs in their items... it makes the product more flexible for the various things I haven't yet imagined I might do with it...

...and in the case of the weight-mapping it can, literally, make the item more flexible ;-)
