There are a couple of things that may be coming into play in that picture. One means you need to use the Morphing Tool to make some Joint Control Morphs to fix the tears and the other means that you need to use the Joint Editor and adjust the inerMatSphere. If these two things don’t sound familiar, let us know and I’m sure someone around here can point you in the right direction. I'm not a real pro at this, so there are others that may have a better answer.
