Firefighters do NOT carry pure oxygen in a self-contained breathing apparatus: it's just ordinary compressed air. Carrying compressed pure oxygen into a fire is...um...possibly very counterproductive. And the tool is generically called a Halligan Bar in North America (or just "a halligan").
