...and, yes, a spotty dog...

My dog isn't spotty. But he has already posed for some reference / texture photos, on the basis that I'd like to make a character of him at some point.

Not sure whether to make a map and morph for the mildog... or wait until I have saved up for Zbrush... and then wait until I've learnt to use it... and then wait until I've learnt to rig.
