Well, since you didn't name names or direct your post to anyone in particular, as someone who has taken part in this thread, I can only assume you were telling me to fuck off.  In most parts of the world, that is offensive.  But if you weren't intending to offend me, I guess mabye it's actually a way of expressing affection, in which case, let me say, "How sweet!  Sorry I misunderstood."

ETA2:  Some of those threads are the most interesting and most educational, if you can ignore the tone of discussion, which is often simply a matter of language differences anyway.  I think it's a shame they get locked.  But oh well.
