Whatever you like is fine. I just wanted to say that since, for not italian folks it's difficult to type Alessandro, you can just use Ale, or Alex. No problem whatsoever

 

Alessandro is cool, so is Alexander..

 

I named my son a variant of that, but my husband and I had a veeeeeeeery hard time choosing.... we were stuck between Alastair and Alexander.... in the end we chose something different.  I love love those names tho!
