Wow!  Now I'm going to have to check my settings.  I'm fairly confident in making changes in surfaces, just not always what affect each will have.  I had no idea that Ambient was the glow affect and that people didn't need it.  It may be turned on - I'll check when I get home.  I know at one point I had SSS turned down to 7%, changed the color to pale pink and M4's mouth was still glowing red, so obviously I missed something.  Tparo's "no tweaking" example is actually one I could live with. Mine was MUCH worse - like I said "lightbulb in the mouth".  I'll play around with it some more tonight and post examples if I can't get it improved.

Oh - one other thing.  The character texture that I'm using is an older Poser 6/7 pack and it only has a diffuse map and bump map.  I used ShaderMap to generate a spec map and displacement map.  The spec map is pretty dark, so I don't think that's going to be much of a problem but I did drop the Specularity strength to 50% (I have NO idea what ballpark that's supposed to be in - it's not used in original settings and Interjection set it to 100%).  And does matter if the maps are .bmp or .jpg?

Mouth inner parts?  I almost missed that!  I bet that's the lightbulb problem...
