I have the SimpleSoftLight and had done a test render, which was quite nice.  But I had messed with the settings so much, I wasn't sure if it was the change in lights or the changed settings.  So I didn't want to muddy the water by mentioning it.  I'll get the ambience modifiers and reset everything and try again.

By the way, I really love the Simple Soft Light.
