I prefer dynamic, but quality dynamic with several (or even many) material zones (for trim or embellishments, etc) and good displacement maps.

If I had to choose one clothing model for Anastasia right now it would be a good generic fantasy tunic, pants, and boot set, ready for tons of texture add-ons. [V3's fantasy tunic, MFD, and hooded cloak (plus expansions and tons of texture variations) made up half my runtime at one point.]

Well, actually, Isokol's above mentioned body suit (conforming) for super hero and sci-fi renders would be very good too, especially if there were a matching expansion with a few accessories such as helmet, boots, and belts, holsters, etc.
