Hmmm... okay. I'll try less threads next time. I had ramped that right up to see if that helped the issue, but it may have aggravated it I guess.

Is there an optimal number of threads to specify, for a quad core i7?

Also, am I best leaving the bucket size at the default 32... or increasing that?

Okay...this may seem OT... but actually I've realised what I'd most like from Poser right now (and from here on in) is to get optimal performance out of the current build... LOL ;-)
