Subject: Idea: allow 1024kb file size for poser gallery?

i like to use .png instead of jpg.

it's big IMVHO.  this is one reason why I quit going to legume's poser newsgroup.  they started posting giant jpegs, no way to see thumbs first, and I used to have a download limit.  now with broadband it don't matter that much, but think of the 60% on dial-up or dsl.

Unfortunately, we can't allow such large image sizes due to the amount of graphics being posted on a daily basis..its already grapic intense, and we do want our dialup members to be able to enjoy the site as well.

It could be done if Bondware wanted to...usually sites that allow larger uploads employ some type of image compression.. I post my stuff here with the larger side of the image being 1000 pixels..Most of the time I can save at 100% and be under the 500KB limit..

Why would you post PNG files? for the web, jpeg is the standard..and works well for most things..
