The "wig" is probably conforming which means that it is rigged similarily to it's base model.  The manual should cover this topic.  Keep in mind also, most forum individuals use either regular Poser or Poser Pro (there is only one other regular which uses Poser Debut).  As Plutom posted, PD is very limited and some advice might not work because of those limitations.  I, myself, took advantage of the free offer but have not installed the app on my computer yet.  If there is an increase number of users, I just might need to install so I can be on the same level as the newbies.
