Answer:
Yes, but most vendors provide body, face, and limbs textures. All around 4000x4000 pixels. And?? And they also provide specular and bump textures, all in that size.

All these textures add up and eat memory.

I ONLY use a single BIGGER texture, but I do not use a separate bump or specular map.
I drive bump, displacement and specular(Blinn) with the same (slightly sharpened) texture combined with the turbulence node.
My memory consumption stays under contol this way.

  1. If you are serious about: How do you morph that?
    I wil answer that one too.
    Or, LOL, was that a sarcastic comment? LOL.
