Quote - So, this works on hair and shoes too? I figured it was just clothes :P. Python is a wonderful thing...lol.
Hair to a degree - works best with short hair, most long hair seems to fall apart. Shoes and boots - I don't have many, but so far they could be the things that work best! I'm not aware of any problems with footwear at all (though of course some will probably have poke-through issues due to the mesh smoothing issues). V5's long-hair ponytail is one of the few exceptions to the long-hair rule in that it works REALLY well (no problems at all that I've found). I haven't used it much, but once you set the materials, set the Genesis morph, and run the python script - it fits, ot looks hair-ish (though I think the textures can be improved and, yes, I'd actually like a higher poly-count myself for closeups).
One thing I've been wondering about would be some kind of compatability thread somewhere - where the first post gets updated based on later posts showing how well given items work - and/or where they fail. you know the kind of thing - works flawlessly / works but with some problems / should be taken out and shot. Maybe even finer graduiations where specific issues and any possible workarounds could be mentioned. But it's really difficult to guage the amount of interest there'd be, how much work there'd be, and how many people we'd P off by showing renders of their stuff looking less than perfect. remember - everyone making Genesis add-ons has been working largely under the assumption that Genesis doesn't relaly WORK in Poser, so there has been zero accounting for using conformers in Poser so far as far as I know. That's got to impact how many things will have... issues.
Cheers,
Cliff
