Unless someone knows something I don't... there is MUCH I don't yet know... I am afraid you are stuck doing it "the hard way" a good trick, though.. place "something" at a pre-specified point in all images, to give yourself a reference point.. it need not be much more than a small "spot" in the image.. preferably, something you can remove later, in the final.
