Many thanks Halfdragon.  I am trying to get a handle on both DS3 and 4 and am slowly making progress amid many frustrations.

Now that I have the adding textures problelm resolved my new frustration is DS3 crashes when I try to save an object.

It shouldn't be a memory problem as I have 4GB Ram.  DS4 has so many issues I don't even try that anymore.  Don"t know if saving an object is an issue for everyone or if I am doing something wrong.

I like DS3 and 4 and one day everything will come together and go smoothly with a lot more practice..
