Quote - It's good to see your work continuing with this Cliff. I'm currently in a rendering hiatus-happens from time to time!
With me too. It's been simply ages since I rendered up any animations that were just "for me", which is a shame because that's an aspect that I love so much. Just little quick quips like animated avatars are such fun, to me.
I've done my best to make it clear in the tutorial's description and in the tut itself that I consider the scripts "beta" - and so feel quite at liberty to upgrade and/or add to them at will. I didn't get as much done as I'd have liked to today, but them's the breaks... I grab the time and use it when I can :)
Quote - You can use the free ones which are at sharecg *http://www.sharecg.com/v/61886/gallery/21/DAZ-Studio/Genesis-Skirts) or use the first one I tried (http://www.daz3d.com/shop/anime-school-girl-uniform/)
Hmmm... let me have a think. One thing I want to do - almost desperately - is avoid trying to work on a problem that's not specific to Genesis, DS4, and Poser as a combination. for example, I'd hate to put a lot of effort into a particular piece of clothing only to find that the problem/s are somehow a result of how that conformer was made. I haven't looked at the sharecq stuff, have no idea who it's by, but would feel on better ground if I don't add a 4th party to the situation. I'm tempted to use something by bobbie as she's done a lot of Genesis work, or I might even try to knock up something really crude myself, so that I have complete control over the whole pipeline (and can keep it really simple so there's less data to have to mull through. More and more this sounds like a potential plan, but would obviously take me some time).
Cheers,
Cliff
