Okay, grabbed this and have read through it, so now it is stupid question time...
On clothing, can I export a .cr2 of an outfit that has been autofit to Genesis or must I use the transfer utility to convert it to Genesis first?
If the transfer utility must be used, can you confirm or deny the rumors that it fails to function properly without the CMS being installed and active? ( I don't and won't have cms installed)
You discuss transfering and fixing materials from DS. If, in the case of clothing, I use Poser shaders instead of the included textures and, in the case of the figure, I choose to confine myself to the Gen4 uv's, is there any reason (once properly exported) that I can't simply apply my Poser materials from that generation as usual from my runtimes?
General questions to other thread members...
Can someone point me to the work around for adding an exported Genesis to EZSkin?
Has anyone tried and experienced any success using Scene Fixer to change the smoothing angles on Genesis, rather than going through the body parts manually?
Guess that's it for questions right now. Very well written tutorial, clear and simple to understand, even for a techno peasant like me.
