frog, try postmyimage.com, as they allow free posts of jpegs up to 5 MB.  these can be linked in various ways, as shown below (512 KB).  may also work in gallery here.

p.s. the thumbs are usually so good in the gallery here that one can decide whether to load a giant image, and dial-up users wouldn't, as mentioned below.
