I don't think I understand the question. You don't have to move it "here, there and everywhere". Just move it directly to the desired location. :blink:

If you know the coordinates of where you want it, you can enter them directly into the translation fields of the parameters palette. If you don't know the coordinates of where you want it, obviously you are going to have to position it by eye, either via cursor or with the translation dials.

If you save a light to the Light library palette, it will load in the same position as it was saved in, you can use 'Select Subset' to only include only one light in the set. Is that the sort of thing you are trying to achieve? If not, could you clarify what you do want to achieve?
