I think we all, and the big companies in the first place, should sit down and come back to KISS.

I model, I morph, I rig.
But never-ever did I need something "special" to succeed.
No JCM"s, ERC, hidden bones, false geometry or any other Nightmare needed.

I model, morph, and rig in a way that I do not need them.
OK, it takes a long time to go back and forward diring the creation, but in the end, I never need any of these.

If I, as a "stupid" hobby guy can do this why cannot the big brothers?

What makes Genesis so important to, and or for, Poser?

All SM has to do is come up with a better figure that does exactly the same but all inside Poser, using Posers conventinal and build in tools. 
But YES, we would need a shrink to fit cloth room. Even for conforming clothing.

Tony, could you please start a new thread with these questions and leave this one to those who do want genesis in Poser. The why question is not relevant here
