What vesion of Poser?????????????????????????????????

The newest versions have texure caching. (if set so int he preferences.

You will have to exit and restart poser to clear the cache.
Or use a different texture name. put a number or a letter behind it.

PS, never over write origional files. Giving the same names can lead to confusion in a month or so.
