This is very true.
It's my experience, though, that fixing clothes with magnets or morph brush is a whole lot easier than fixing a body. Clothes bunch up and fold. If they're conforming, they aren't going to be "correct" in any real sense. So there's a lot more room for error with those tools. Screw up on the flesh, on the other hand, and tiny errors are instantly noticeable.
ETA: With dynamic, naturally, it's not an issue, and that's my preference, in any case, for clothing that would be deformed by the body. So most of the time the fixes work wonderfully for me.
